OK. Here's my memory of some of the books Terri forgot.
Brown, Rosellen Before and After A son commits a murder and the husband and wife each deal with it differently. Interesting, easy, disturbing
Hegland, Jean Into the Forest Teenage girls survive on theie own after some kind of nuclear disaster? that throws the world into mayhem and darkness. I loved it because for once it was about girls surviving in the "new" wilderness and being tough and strong and resourceful. A great YA book.
Hersch. Patricia A Tribe Apart We know NOTHING about our teenagers lives (I agree) Scary, kind of like Thirteen (the movie) Non Fiction
Smiley, Jane A Thousand Acres By the way she won a Pulitzer prize for that "dopey" book
Stone, Irving Lust for LIfe The life story of Vincent Van Gogh
Wharton, Edith House of Mirth Was that the one with Lilly who falls from grace because she's independent and cocky?
Hockenberry, John Moving Violations Non Fiction A wheelchair bound journalist in Iraq.. Inspirational
